In today’s modern dynamic drive systems, the ability to obtain accurate data of the system’s torque and speed is imperative. KTR’s DATAFLEX torque sensors set themselves apart by providing reliable contactless measurement of the systems speed, torque, and rotational direction.
KTR recommends assembling the DATAFLEX between two backlash-free couplings to optimize measurement resolution while compensating for misalignment. By combining the new and improved RADEX-NC High-torque EK coupling, with improved clamping and higher torque capacities, and DATAFLEX more accurate readings are made by reducing strain on the sensors due to misalignments.
