Incredible Diversity of

Please enjoy this tour of a private collection located in Central FL, in a microclimate where the owner can grow many fruits that normally wouldn't survive. You'll see species you never thought could survive in the continental United States, let alone zone 9b, FL. This collection is home to the massive Grimal Jabuticaba tree that I planted so many seeds from over the years. Unfortunately the specimen was hit hard when a large branch of an oak tree above it died off, and exposed it to a ton of heat and sunlight. It wasn't watered enough I suppose, and suffered a huge amount of dieback, but the tree still grows strong. There's an assortment of rare mangoes, annonas, Plinias, and much more.
