The Creative Studio - Create a Halfdrop Surface Pattern Repeat in Affinity Photo V2 for Desktop

In today’s tutorial, I am excited to share a new surface pattern design project. I’ve often shared how to create different types of seamless pattern repeats in affinity designer and specifically how to make half drops, but this time around I’ll be sharing how to create a half drop repeat in affinity photo. In photo we have to do things just a bit different since it’s a raster based program, but the process still can be done! If you create surface pattern designs that have a hand drawn feels using raster brushes this a is a great technique to use. Let’s get started and create something great together!
