Rare footage appears to capture Israel’s Arrow air defence system intercepting a long-range rocket fired by Houthi rebels in Yemen. Video shows an interceptor missile being launched from Eilat, a city at the southern tip of Israel, on the Red Sea. Arrow is similar to the Iron Dome system, but is designed to intercept long-range rockets, while the Iron Dome intercepts short range. Arrow had never been used before this conflict, and last month became the first system to intercept a missile on the edge of space.
