Shopping For A New Devotional With My Husband. I haven't been married for long but one thing I know is that God should always be in the center of your marriage. You should always make time to intentionally be fed together through the word of God outside of going to church (in person or online). One of the things we do is read a couples devotional together. If you've ever read a devotional you know sometimes its hard to find the right now. Ive experienced this in my personal devotionals as well. Many of the devotionals my husband and I had were gifted or purchased online. They were OK but not what we needed. There was one we purchased for ourselves and the content was good but the reflection questions at the end werent. The devotional and assignments were also daily versus weekly and we realized we needed weekly. The common issue between all of the devotionals was the questions at the end. I expected the questions to be thought provoking and maybe bring up conversations that we hadn't had before. Granted, we've known each other since I was a teenager so we've talked about a lot!
