Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Zab Judah fought on April 8, 2006, at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, in a bout for the WBC (World Boxing Council) Welterweight title.

The fight was highly anticipated, as both fighters were considered among the best in their division at the time. Mayweather started strong, using his superior speed and movement to outbox Judah and avoid most of his punches. However, in the second round, Judah caught Mayweather with a low blow, followed by a right hook that sent Mayweather stumbling and touching the canvas with his glove. The referee ruled it a knockdown, despite the low blow, which sparked a brief melee in the ring.

After the chaos subsided, Mayweather regained his composure and continued to outbox Judah for the rest of the fight. He landed some hard shots of his own, while also avoiding most of Judah's punches. Judah, for his part, tried to rally in the later rounds but was unable to land any significant blows on Mayweather.

In the end, Mayweather was declared the winner by unanimous decision, with scores of 119-109, 116-112, and 117-111. The low blow and knockdown in the second round caused a lot of controversy, but Mayweather's skill and dominance for the rest of the fight showed why he was considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters of his generation.
