Crafting Truly Great Wines with Andrea Mullineux

Hailing from San Francisco, Andrea first came to South Africa in 2004 to work a six-month stint at Waterford after her season working at different wineries in the Napa Valley. It was an instant love affair.
In 2007, she and her husband, Chris Mullineux, set up their Swartland-based winery, Mullineux Family Wines, followed later in 2013 by their second winery Leeu Passant.
Andrea joined the Cape Winemakers Guild in 2013. She enjoys how the Cape Winemakers Guild helps winemakers push boundaries and elevate winemaking excellence in the Cape Wine Industry.
Andrea focuses on dry-farmed Mediterranean varieties produced as naturally and classically as possible. In addition, she strives to create rare wines that enable people to enjoy unforgettable wine experiences.
