How to use surface lures

Surface lures are a great way to have fun while fishing. Nothing beats a big hit that you get to see. Sometimes lots of fish even fight over the lure creating some great memories of the day.
Don't feel dishearten if you don't hook up, as long you getting hits you are doing something right.
It had been over a year fishing like this and I was a bit rusty and didn't catch anything but still had a ball with some great surface action.


THE RIG I'm using is for bream so light leader is needed due to their smart and fussy nature.
6Lb braid main line followed by 10lb vanish leader to give the line a bit of weight to cast out, with 30cm of 4Lb Fluorocarbon tip, i don't use much 4lb due to the cost of it. This is all tied together using the uni knot which ill show in the next how to tips.
