Magnorail - New pedalling concept and design for the ready to run Tandem bicycle H0 KKd-2

Maketis is pleased to announce the arrival of a new-generation V2 HO scale (1/87) Magnorail tandem Ref: KKd-2, to make pedalling animation more reliable and, above all, more realistic.

Compared with the old version, we've worked on a new frame design, in particular modifying the attachment and fixing of the transparent wheel, allowing the cyclists' legs to pedal. We also took the opportunity to redesign the frame to give it a slimmer silhouette.

The frame's metal material has also been changed, allowing us to increase its slenderness while guaranteeing excellent robustness.

The result is a tandem that moves without vibrating or shaking. Pedalling is smoother and the tandem wheels stick to the road just like in real life!

We also appreciated the reduction in noise from the pads at the base of the wheels, which could sometimes make a squeaking noise.

All these modifications and improvements will of course be passed on to all the Magnorail range's ready-to-run cyclists.

Maketis a le plaisir de vous annoncer l'arrivée d'un tandem Magnorail Ref : KKd-2 à l'échelle HO (1/87) nouvelle génération V2 afin de rendre l'animation de pédalage plus fiable et surtout plus réaliste.

Pa rapport à l'ancienne version, nous avons avons travaillé sur une nouvelle conception du cadre en modifiant notamment l'accrochage et la fixation de la roue transparente, permettant le pédalage des jambes des cyclistes. Nous en avons profité aussi pour revoir le design du cadre afin de lui donner une silhouette plus fine.

La matière métallique du cadre a également été changée nous permettant d'augmenter la finesse tout en garantissant une très bonne robustesse.

Il en résulte un déplacement du tandem sans aucune vibration ou tremblement. Le pédalage est plus régulier et les roues du tandem sont collées à la route comme en réalité !

Nous avons apprécié aussi la réduction de bruit au niveau des patins à la base des roues qui parfois pouvaient émettre un bruit de couinement.

Toutes ces modifications et améliorations vont bien-sûr être rapportées à tous les cyclistes prêts à rouler de la gamme Magnorail.
