1971 SNO JET SS 396 SNOWMOBILE RESTORATION

Hey everyone, Winter is here at Greg's Restorations! Thanks for viewing the restoration of this "barn find" 1971 SnoJet SS 396 Snowmobile restoration we have just completed. The restoration took about 1 year to complete on & off and was overall a cool project. The entire snowmobile was taken down to the bare chassis, sandblasted, bodyworked and painted with Sherwin Williams Automotive single stage paint. The fuel tank had to be repaired due to rust on the inside was the hardest challenge of the project. We did not rebuild the original Hurth engine due to customer request but it ran beautiful with no issues. The Snowmobile was purchased new by the owners grandfather back in the 1970s and is still in the family to this day in Wisconsin.
