Question Answers:
1- The plant will not be able to grow, because the chlorophyll cannot be formed and therefore photosynthesis process can't be completed. If the magnesium decreases while plant is alive, the green colour of the leaves will fade away

Question 2:
2- What will happen to the cell ATP stock when the plant is absorbing nutrients against its concentration gradient ?

Answer: The cell ATP stock will decrease, because transporting minerals against the concentration gradient requires active transport which requires ATP

Question 3:
3- What happens if a plant requires potassium in a diluted soil sample from potassium?

Answer: Diluted soil sample means that the soil has too much water and very little ions, therefore the plant will reserve to use active transport to absorb the nutrients against their concentration gradient.
