Earthion Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) Shmup by Yuzo Koshiro - Gameplay Trailer 2 PS/Xbox/Switch/PC

According to Yuzo Koshiro, everything you see and hear in the video is straight from a real Mega Drive (except for the BGM).

A sneak peek of Earthion (a new Mega Drive game) Stage 2 (Stage 1 is shown in the video due to being under development) - everything in this stage is the real deal, running on a Mega Drive, except for the BGM, which is playing on an MD emulator.

Official FAQ:

Will Earthion also be available on modern consoles?
- Yes. 'Modern consoles' includes the Nintendo Switch, PS4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and any future iterations of these platforms (if available).

Additionally, a PC version is on the list for porting. As of now, we can't specify which hardware version will be released first.

When will it be released?
- At the earliest, by the end of 2024.

Region?
- It will be available in regions where MD/Genesis games were released in the past, hopefully.

Will there be a physical cartridge for the MD/Genesis release?
-Absolutely!
