Sid the Airedale Terrier

Today we talked about Sid the Airedale Terrier. Also known as Siddy, Siddles, Siddy boy. Sid is 18 months old and has been coming to the farm for about ten months now. Sid loves chasing the most at the farm, whether it’s high speed against the quad, a more intimate pace against the Pee Wee, hunting the pesky drone or even one of his willing or unwilling brothers ... Sid loves to chase!

Sid was the first of his large family to come to the farm. He liked it so much he told all his brothers about it. Odin, Rex and Fred who all now come together on Tuesdays. Of all the brothers Sid is the cheekiest (said in the most endearing way), he’s always coming up with a new wild and wonderful ploy to entice his brothers to play a game of chase or tug of war and they’re always obliging.

Like many of the dogs that come to the farm, Sid’s breed instincts come out strong at day care and whilst playing the activities. Bush hunting is another of his favourites. But when he sleeps over on holidays he turn into a cuddly bear, giving lots of cuddles and licks. He’s a very affectionate boy.
