Plateau State, once celebrated as the Home of Peace and Tourism may now be a danger zone for its residents and even visitors.

Just between the 2023 Christmas season and now, more than 150 people have been killed from terorrists attack and communal killings.

The latest being the attack in Mangu Local Government area few weeks ago.

Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa (CDS), has now constituted a fact-finding team to find a lasting solution to end the communal strife in Plateau state.

This is a seven-man team headed by a former commander of Operations Safe Haven (OPSH), Maj Gen Augustine Agundu (rtd), to seek input and advice from the federal and state governments, including security agencies on how to totally put an end to the crisis.
