People with disabilities, older workers, as well as pregnant women are among new groups getting more protection against workplace discrimination. It is part of 20 recommendations released on Feb 13 by the Tripartite Committee on Workplace Fairness. These are on top of existing guidelines for fair employment practices, and could be passed into law next year.
