How come while we know what real life is
We’re doing just the opposite, quite joyfully
We’re the banksters’ puppies
Politicians’ friends
Tax the tax and raise the bills
And use the money to define our enemies

how is that when we climb up the hill
voices sing a melody that amends it into a steep cliff
rain has dissolved me
and these voices aren’t my friends
but they remind me
to close the fight in dignity
