Traveling through north Texas does not give you the same feeling or sense of place as the wine country in other places in the world where wine has been a part of the culture for centuries. But it sure provides a sense of being in the country.

The wineries visited are as follows:
1. Square Cloud Winery. Family operated. Locally grown. Prices are a little high but the tasting fee is reasonable.
