We are going to be covering the brand new 3 Beacon stations that have been added in the latest anniversary release for Barotrauma. The major change that all the stations have undergone is that monsters can now spawn inside all of the different types, making them more deadly than before.

Salt Water Beacon Station | (00:00)
Looking at the new configuration for this station, it does not have a nuclear reactor, instead a salt water one. This provides power to a battery system that then powers the pumps and sonar monitor in the station.

Coil Gun Beacon Station | (01:34)
The new coil gun beacon station as the name suggests has a turret mounted on the top. This can be used to either defend against the monster wave that spawns when the beacon station is turned on or as part of a traitor mission.

Bandit Beacon Station | (02:42)
The final new station added has pirates and bandits onboard, so be sure to bring either extra weapons or stun equipment to subdue the hostiles. These can turn out to be some of the most profitable missions if done with the right talents.
