5 KILLED IN FATAL ROAD ACCIDENT IN ASSAM; 20 OTHERS INJURED & HOSPITALISED

5 Killed in a fatal road accident in Assam while 20 others injured and Hospitalised. The accident took place at late night in Gohpur. A Bolero Pick up van carrying a Bihu dance group crashed, taking the lives of 5 people. A group of 50 performers went on AS 25 DC 7418 to perform Bihu Dance. 3 girls along with 2 youths died on the spot after the Pick up van lost control. The deceased were identified as Radhika Daimary, Buddhimati Boro, Barnali Boro, Sanjay Basumatari and Kaliman Basumatari. All the deceased belonged to North Karibil and Purani garage village. 20 Youths were also injured in the accident. The injured have been admitted to Gohpur Hospital, Tezpur
