Hi, there, my name is Egils. I am dance teacher and today we gonna explore Waltz for Beginners. If you want to learn Natural Turn and see easy routine for beginners then stay tuned and watch this video, thats coming up.

BOX STEP
Man starts with right foot: forward, side, close; back, side, close.
Lady starts with left foot: back, side close; forward, side, close.

HOLD IN WALTZ
Let's look at the Hold in Waltz. Man's left arm is connected with Lady's right arm. Man's right arm is connected with Lady's shoulder blade. Lady's left arm is connected with Man's upper arm.

We will dance Box step together and then we will start turn slightly to right. Now we will start turn.

We will listen to the Waltz music. Waltz music has three beats in the bar. Listen: 123 123 123 123.

ROUTINE FOR BEGINNERS
Now you will see easy routine for beginners. In this routine we will dance Natural Turn and Closed Changes.

Man starts with right foot: fwd side close, back side close, fwd side close, fwd side close.
Lady starts with left foot: back side close, fwd side close, back side close, back side close.

Natural Turn (123 123) - Closed Changes (123 123)
