Reacting To My NEW Civic Type R EP3 SPOON N1 Exhaust System (Revs + VTEC!!)

Olly reacts to his full Spoon Sports exhaust system on his Honda Civic Type R EP3 with some revs, dB tests, tunnel blasts and VTEC driving!

Since getting the Spoon Sports manifold fitted, Olly has had the Spoon N1 Silencer installed in the N1 back box. In this video, Olly takes the bung out and does various tests to see the differences between having the bung installed and having it removed. Starting with a drive with the bung in, Olly tests the car in VTEC and a tunnel blast before testing the dB level on some revs using high quality microphones. The bung is then removed and the full Spoon Sports exhaust system is unrestricted and Olly takes the car out for another drive to assess the differences before combining the clips together to show a before and after. The Civic Type R standard exhaust is very restrictive so by installing a more free flowing system like the Spoon Sports example, you create more power because exhaust gases are able to exit quicker. This makes the EP3 much more fun to drive and sound a lot better too!
