Thessaloniki-Alexandroupolis line is the second longer and most important line in Hellas' standard gauge network after the main line Ath-Thes. In the summer of 2010 i (Alexander) visited this line and filmed some trains which were plenty - until the total dedstruction of the line after the new timetable of 2011 with 2 trains to and 2 from Alex/polis. Beautiful Macedonian plains and Thracian mountains, with lots of rivers and great forests. Favorite place Nestos valley and ''Kiriki-Sikorachi Pass'' but i didn't manage to catch any trains neither at Nestos nor at Kirki.
