Android Ice Cream Sandwich

We're on the brink of Android's next operating system update - ice cream sandwich, so here's what we think the software upgrade will include.

Among the fresh features we could see unveiled tomorrow is a Google apps icon on the homescreen, which opens into a drawer that looks similar to folders in iOS. There could also be a vertical multi-tasking menu that appears when you hold down the home button.

The video description confirms the 19 October launch for the new OS, taking place at 10AM Hong Kong time (3AM UK time), and was posted on Google's brand new @Android Twitter account.
