Automatic Waste Segregator

Welcome to our YouTube channel! In this video, we present an innovative project that utilizes Arduino technology to automatically segregate different types of waste materials.

By incorporating inductive, ultrasonic, and rain sensors, our waste segregator can accurately detect various waste categories. Whether it's dry waste, wet waste, or metallic waste, our system efficiently identifies and separates them.

Once a specific waste material is detected in the receiver bin, a digital signal is transmitted to the Arduino board, which then commands a stepper motor to rotate the base. The base holds multiple bins, each designated for a specific waste type, ensuring precise segregation.

To facilitate the process, we employ a servo motor that opens and closes a flap located at the bottom of the receiver bin. This mechanism allows the waste to be directed into the appropriate bin.

Furthermore, we utilize an IR sensor for homing purposes, ensuring the system remains calibrated and accurate.
