Sankaku Tenshin - Kihon. Triangular Motion - Basic Form.

Sankaku Tenshin is a basic Unsoku (Feet Pattern) used to generate Triangular Motion. In the Shinjinbukan School, Sankaku Tenshin is practiced using Jigotai and several other stances.

Sankaku Tenshin is also a Kihon Gata (Basic Form) which has been practiced in Okinawa for hundreds of years using tsuki, keri and triangular motion.  In the Shinjinbukan School, these old forms are known as Koshiki Sankaku Tenshin.

After World War II, a more simplified version of Sankaku Tenshin was adopted by some Okinawan schools.  It consists of three parts.
