Ek Nayee Zindagi - 19th December 2023

We’re inching towards the end of another year, and entering a season of joy and celebrations! While many of us will be rushing around to plan the best Christmas holiday or party, some of us will find ourselves battling feelings that aren’t typical to a time of celebrations. They could be feelings associated with conflicts with family members, colleagues, friends or even ourselves. The end of the year often brings about feelings of regret or inadequacy for not achieving the looong list of goals we had made at the beginning of the year. Spending the festive season surrounded with a lot of people can bring up past or new conflicts. Watching the news – hearing of the heart-wrenching conflicts around the world leave us with a bad feeling deep inside, especially when it hits so close to home.

This December, CBN India is discussing the types of conflicts we face and how celebrating the birth of our Savior brings peace and hope. So whether you are facing the darkness of inner conflicts or the pain of years of unhappiness with a family member, we have a new perspective for you. John 16:33 gives us this reminder to look to the prince of peace during times of unrest: I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. Join us every Sunday we will look at God’s word to help us navigate the contrasting emotions of conflict and joy during this season.
