PART 1 - In this documentary, a special feature of the 2005 re-release of the Billy Elliot movie on DVD, Sir Elton John, Stephen Daldry, Lee Hall, Peter Darling and Jessica Ronane explain how the film became a musical, and what was involved in casting the boys. Broken into two parts, it included great footage of the early auditions (with George Maguire, James Lomas and Brad Kavanagh) and the first interview with a very young-looking Liam Mower. Thanks to Hokey for supplying the DVD, but please note, the video is a little off-sync and the mouths don't always match the words.
