NanoPi R6S - Wireguard & OpenVPN Throughput Test

In this video, let's check out the VPN performance of the NanoPi R6S with Wireguard VPN and OpenVPN. I will run the test with OpenSpeedTest and iperf3 (single and parallel streams).
At the time of running the test, the NanoPi R6S was running FriendlyWrt (OpenWrt 22.03.2) that was released on Dec 4, 2020 by Friendlyarm. The R6S is connected to the client PC and the upstream router with a 2.5Gbps link speed, in order to achieve the highest throughput.
In this video, I will also walk you throught the OpenVPN and Wireguard installation & configuration. However, you can skip to test anytime you want, using the navigation bar.
