With this video I would like to share my findings regarding custom furniture build in story mode. For some I may not tell or explain anything new here, but perhaps there will be one or two helpful tips for others.

I make no claim that the information here is complete. You are welcome to add more in the comments. The information and circumstances are based on the game after the summer update. Circumstances may change after each update or hotfix.

If you want to explore your creativity in this game with more freedom and options, I definitely recommend sandbox mode. In story mode, however, it is also possible to create houses with individual furniture and items within certain limits.

I initially planned to make videos about how to build all the custom furniture in my story mode houses, but I think it makes more sense to share the basics so that you can create your own furniture.
