KTF was established in memory of his Late Adv. Shivshankar Thobde was fondly called Kakasaheb by the members of the legal fraternity.
Kakasaheb was revered at the Bar for his superb legal acumen. He also taught at the D.A.V. Society’s DGB Law College, Solapur. He served as a Public Prosecutor at the District and Sessions Court, Solapur.
Kaksaheb was a legal luminary par excellence. He never shied away from encouraging young lawyers with their queries. He had sponsored the legal education of many from the socially backward strata of society.
We at the Foundation are working to promote legal education and legal awareness and knowledge about law amongst members of the Bar as well as the public at large.
The Kakasaheb Thobde Foundation Channel on Youtube brings weekly developments and landmark judgments passed by the Courts. The Channel also seeks to cater to guide young entrants in the profession with lectures by legal stalwarts.
