"Helplessly Hoping" by the Our House Band on 8-16-24 in New Brunswick, NJ.

Noteworthy for this performance is the opportunity to hear legendary drummer Stevie D (David Gilmour, CPR, Sky Trails, CSN) step out from behind the kit to sing with Michelle Willis and the band on this classic CSN song written by Stephen Stills. Stevie D's singing was excellent and blended beautifully with Michelle. Anything you hear off-key was the contribution of the gentleman behind me who knew most of the lyrics of all songs in the show, and absolutely none of the timing or intonation. Stills would not have approved of this audience member's contributions, though the entire CSN band would have applauded the entire evening's performance. In fact, throughout many of these videos, you will see David, Stephen, Graham, and Neil watching with approving smiles from behind the band, with a little help from master photographer Henry Diltz.
