You may have heard last fall about the Twitter user who discovered that the KFC Twitter account was following 11 Herbs and Spices – the five Spice Girls and six guys named Herb. What you may not know is that while that user whose Tweet went viral and resulted in the gift of an oil painting from KFC wasn’t actually the first person on Twitter to catch the clever gag.

Way back in September, the very first was Go 95.3‘s own Chaz Kangas. As word spread that other users had noticed the followers before the one that went viral, Chaz was the very first to make the connection. Being that Colonel Sanders is an honorable man, he promised Chaz he’d make it right.

Six months later KFC came through by sending Chaz two packages including KFC sunscreen, a KFC stress-drumstick, an autographed KFC/WWE Ric Flair t-shirt and progressively more bizarre items – namely a mysterious framed photo of Chaz meeting Colonel Sanders himself.
