Another blast from the past now, Redhill on a cold winters day in January 1988. Passenger, parcels & freight trains in action with class 33, 47, 73, DMU & EMUs, the highlight of which is a pair of 73s on top of a failed 47 on a Yeoman loaded stone working. Even on electric power they struggle to get the train moving! The DMUs are Western Region ones working across from Reading to Redhill and then onwards to Tonbridge and a Crompton works a parcels train-happy days!
