A film celebrating the Zetland Life-Boat 'The Oldest Life-Boat In The World'.
Built in 1802 by Henry Greathead of South Shields, the Zetland Life-Boat knew service on the rugged & dangerous stretch of sea along the North-East Coast off Redcar.
The film also pays tribute to the generations of Redcar Lifeboats & lifeboatmen who continue the brave & courageous tradition of saving lives at sea.

Also features folk songs by Greame Miles ' The Zetland Is Her Name' was specially recorded for the film by The Wilson Family. Also features incidental music by Barrie Temple.
