Sadly this marks the end for a truly Iconic special lioness and inspiring Queen of Londolozie, whom simply drifted into unconsciousness for the last time on 6th June 2018, following a brutal attack against her by her own grandaugters.

Unable to recover from the attack, she succumbed to her wounds and sadly took her last breath a week later on the Banks of the Manyelethi River Londolozie.

In her remaining years she was a lioness who willingly made great sacrifice for the greater good of protecting her pride, the Tsalala legacy, and tried to ensure the survival of her young family that she had fought so hard to protect. Tailess had split from her core pride and territory in 2015, taking her sisters four young subadults the 3 Tsalala males, and 1 female, whom were sired by the legendary Majingilanes, and went on the run to raise and protect them from the Matimba males who had came to Londolozie. Whilst on the run, this led to Tailess and the youngsters having to traverse areas that were not within her territory, involving high risks in order to protect and raise the young subadults. One truly remarkable lioness who will be greatly remembered and deeply missed.
