Wet sanding is terrifying and very, very slow...

The beautiful gloss black bonnet of my Rover P6 used to look stunning but was ruined by being parked under trees for months when a garage had it, and every time its machine polished the marks come back, so now Ive got to bite the bullet and get more extreme and wet sand the paint...gulp...
