HOW I CHOSE A SPECIALTY | Residency Match Results

Hi everyone! So this week I matched in my first choice of family medicine residency. Those of you who have been following me since the beginning of my journey know that I was struggling between OBGYN, surgery, and family medicine when picking a specialty. Just wanted to give a little update

MY ADVICE: I think that it is amazing if you know what you want to do at a young age, but it you don't, it is ok too! Its like falling in love - the people we fall in love with in high school are not necessarily the people we spend the rest of your lives with. But there is the lucky some where that "high school sweetheart" is the one. Life and life experiences will change you - just be open to the experience.
