How to be an electrical contractor - Start your contracting business the right way

In this video, I will talk about the 3 things you should do before starting any business. If you ever thought of going on your own, think about starting the right way. lay the groundwork for your marketing future and avoid expensive changes later on.

Here are some tips you can use to make marketing later when you grow easier
#1 Pick several names for your company, try not using your personal name in the title, #2 The name you pick should also have a .com able to be registered so 123 Electric would need a website like 123electric.com 123-electric.com etc. #3 Then you want to see if you can get a phone number to match the name, this is often more difficult since you are limited on numbers and letters. For example, 123 Electrics toll-free number can be 1800 PICK 123 which would be 1800 742-5123.
