Farewell Thomas Cook | 1841 - 2019

Today marks a very sad day in the Aviation industry with the loss of another airline; Thomas Cook. The 178 year old company ceased operations this morning, bringing to and end years of long and short haul flights.

With a fleet of 46 aircraft and over 20,000 employees across the whole company, the collapse is a great lost to both the British and international industries.

Thomas Cook has been a regular sight at Manchester airport for decades with a large base and operations at the airport.
For us at MT Aviation Thomas Cook has been a huge part of our hobby and journey on Youtube. Thomas Cook have repeatedly featured on our channel and we were lucky to work with the airline in 2018 on a number of special videos.

The airline will be greatly missed however their legacy will live on.

Our thoughts go to all the staff affected by the collapse of Thomas Cook and we wish them all the best in finding new employment.
