Farewell flypast of this fast all-weather multi-purpose helicopter. Frequently seen at Portland Naval Base from 1976, and from July 1982 RNAS Portland was the base for Lynx of 702 and 815 Squadrons. The air station at the time was one of the busiest helicopter bases in the world. All the Portland helicopter squadrons transferred to Yeovilton when the base closed in 1999.
