Strengthening preventive and recovery measures to adapt to floods – Nigeria

This video is part of the 'My Climate Adaptation Solution' competition, linked to the Youth Climate Adaptation Action Day organized by the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA) on October 12, 2024.

In this competition, young people aged 18 to 35 were invited to submit videos showcasing an adaptation solution they developed or helped develop.

Public voting for the video competition is open from October 7th and runs until October 31st. The winners will be determined by the number of likes received across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok and will be announced at COP29 in Azerbaijan.

The Youth Climate Adaptation Action Day is the largest annual youth adaptation event, spanning over 100 countries and aiming to mobilize, showcase, and celebrate the power of young people in driving innovative climate adaptation solutions.
