I DO NOT CLAIM OWNERSHIP OVER THE IMAGES OR THE SONG. THIS IS NOT MEANT TO SPREAD A POLITICAL MESSAGE- THIS IS JUST TO PRESERVE HISTORY.

About the Azad Hind Fauj: The Azad Hind Fauj, or Indian National Army (INA), stands as a shining beacon of bravery and patriotism in India's struggle for independence. Founded by the indomitable Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the army sought to free its motherland by allying with the Ax!s powers in WWII while also remaining independent. It was also one of the most progressive members of the Ax!s. Its inclusive policies, including the recruitment of men and women from diverse backgrounds, showcased a commitment to equality and unity. The INA's establishment of the Rani of Jhansi Regiment, an all-female combat unit, was a pioneering move that underscored its progressive outlook.

About the Song: क़दम क़दम बढ़ाये जा/قدم قدم بڑھائے جا was the regimental quick march of the Indian National Army. It was written by Vanshidhar Shukla and composed by Ram Singh Thakuri in 1942. It is currently the quick march of the Indain Armed Forces.

And yes, I know, the British Banned the song and one of the first things Independent India did was unban it.
