Where time and moment coincide, the sand flows through the rhythm. Where every move tends towards perfection, we are back at the beginning. Where ritual interweaves culture, a silent becoming hovers. In the long durational performance „circadian“, Em Krallmann writes themself into the context of the old botanical garden in Kiel. This offers Em Krallmann’s calligraphic practice a place of cultural mixing, archiving and becoming. Previous performances have focused on the presence of movement, i.e. the gesture of writing.
