I-494 from Minnetonka to Maple Grove is undergoing major renovations. Nevertheless we are doing our best to minimize the traffic impacts and keep the road open during construction. We are able to keep the road partially open by using five miles of moveable barriers. The barriers are moved after the morning and evening rush hours.

And a shout out to the brave workers riding that platform. It takes more than a little nerve to be driving a million dollar contraption between all those lanes of rushing traffic.
