We're looking back at Year 2 of Speak Up, our secondary school programme that aims to encourage new ways for young people to think, see and bring about change.

Young people work collaboratively as equal partners with their teachers, artists, local arts organisations and the National Theatre to co-create local artworks and creative projects in response to issues which matter to them.

In Year 2 we ran 1,811 sessions across 56 schools in England, employed 166 artists who have inspired creativity through Speak Up sessions and held 32 training events for teachers and artists.
