From Putin to Macron, UAE Prez to Sunak, over 75 world leaders congratulate PM Modi on poll victory

The 2024 Lok Sabha Elections results gave a clear mandate to the BJP-led NDA with over 290 seats on June 04. Narendra Modi will be the second person to hold Prime Minister’s Office for 3rd consecutive time after Jawaharlal Nehru. As NDA is set to return for a third term, global leaders extended heartfelt wishes to PM Modi on his triumph. France, Russia, UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, European Union and others congratulated PM Modi on his electoral victory. Taking to ‘X’, French President Emmanuel Macron extended his greeting to PM Modi for his victory. As per Russian Embassy in India, President Putin ‘warmly’ congratulated on his success in Lok Sabha Elections. UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak also congratulated PM Modi for his victory and wished countries friendship to continue to thrive. US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken also congratulated PM Modi and NDA for the victory. Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed, UAE Prez Mohammed Bin Zayed, and EU Prez Ursula also commended the PM’s “historic” victory. Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also thanked his counterparts for their warm wishes on his victory. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders elected Narendra Modi as their leader after meeting on June 05.
