Hi there and welcome! 😊 In this video, we will explain to you what is month input element or month picker.

month input element is type of HTML input element that we use to create month picker. Month picker is type of input element that we can click on it and calendar will be opened, from which you can choose month and year for that month.

⚠️NOTE: month input type is available from HTML5

Month input field can be easily created, we just need to set type value month, for standard input element.
➡️ type="month"

Additional attribute that we can use with month picker is value where we can set initial year and month.
➡️ value="2020-02"
