Gyari Dorje Yudron and Reflections on a Fading Generation. The passing of Gyari Dorje Yudron, a courageous Tibetan female warrior who resisted Chinese forces in the 1950s, marks the dwindling of a generation that experienced Tibet before the Chinese invasion. Her recent cremation, attended by hundreds in tribute, signifies the disappearance of those who witnessed and lived in a Tibet without Chinese rule. To honor this profound historical shift, Kunleng invites Tibetan writer and historian Jamyang Norbu, who wrote about Gyari Dorje Yudron in his book, to share his reflections on the passing of this generation and its significance for Tibet's history.
