An *Articulated Robot* is essentially a robotic arm with *rotary joints* (or "axes"), much like the joints in a human arm. This design allows for multiple **Degrees of Freedom (DOF)**, making them incredibly versatile and flexible for a wide array of complex tasks.



*Why are they so popular?*

*Human-like Motion:* Their joint structure mimics human movement, allowing them to reach into tight spaces, perform intricate maneuvers, and handle objects with precision.

*High Flexibility:* With typically 4, 5, or 6 axes (a 6-axis robot offers maximum flexibility!), they can perform tasks like welding, painting, assembly, material handling, and even precise surgical procedures.
