🎨 Bringing old wood back to life! In this video, we're repainting our own barn using Sherwin-Williams Performance Wood Primer followed by Rejuvenate Exterior Paint in a bold and rustic “Beetroot” color.

This barn has a mix of old weathered wood and freshly replaced boards, so we needed a product that would handle both. Enter Rejuvenate—designed to bridge the gap between aged wood and new lumber, sealing it all up for a long-lasting finish.

🛠️ What We Used & How We Did It:

Primer: Sherwin-Williams Performance Wood Primer

Topcoat: Sherwin-Williams Rejuvenate (Satin finish)

Color: Beetroot (rich red tone, great for barns and rustic homes)

Application: Airless sprayer with a 517 tip

Coats: Two—because red over white primer always needs two for solid coverage

Prep: Scraping, caulking old nail holes, replacing rotten boards

Whether you’re maintaining a vintage barn or refreshing your home’s siding, this method gives new life while protecting your investment.
